How much would you pay for an wedding/event planning course?

I was thinking about attending the seminar of a famous wedding planner who’s been on TV for a while. No need to mention her name, you might know or have heard about her. She’s in New Jersey. I want to go because I want to get in the business, but things are a bit tough, but would make the sacrifice. The course fee is $990. Isn’t that a little too much or does it no matter since she’s famous and all? How much would you pay for an event planning course?

i would like a name that is classy and modern. none of the typical names that you would associate with an event planning business.
so, i was thinking about magnolia events. what do you think?
